little bit of green

Everything else is shades of gray, but these little lilies are green already. I find them to be quite hopeful. And helpful.
Springtime is a-coming!

I remember lots & lots of weird shit. Some of it was ok. Some wasn't.
Froggies!
Aren't they beautiful?
I get excited over the oddest things...the lifecycle of the toad!
Springtime...kitties...
You know Sophie:
And this is Leon
Go on, give the kitty a kiss!
I see the light at the end of the tunnel...stay tuned...
Peace!
They're outgoing, loud, usually attractive, and you think they're smart, until it's too late. In junior high, they're the ones who would kick your ass if you missed a 2-pointer. They really know how to make you think they're your friend, though, and you WANT to be their friend! You don't even know why. They talk about each other all the time. It's a chore sometimes not to be just like them, just because it's so familiar. It's a pretty easy game to play.
I can't believe I haven't been here since Thursday.
The Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is, I believe, actually lifting a little, even though the last two days were the coldest this winter.
How sad can I be when I have photoshop & a view
& my guitar
& my bff
& my family
& my health

Even though they used a couple of pretty-but-marginally-talented Brits & Aussies to play Civil War-era Appalachian folk, and even though it's a little bit chick-y, I love Cold Mountain and I've been stopping there every time I catch it on cable. How can you not watch it? I like that it shows that as in real life, most southerners did not even own slaves, and that our worst enemies are "our own." Each other.
It looks as if I'm not going to be isolated...
