"How could these atrocities have happened"

they said on the NBC news just now.
"Because it's a war"
said azalea.

There's idiots willing to spend their lives branded in order to take just a chance on having sex with 13- and 14-year old girls. They really ARE everywhere, it seems.

There's babies right down the street here, being neglected and/or abused in some way or another.

There's CEO's living in palatial splendor while the individuals who do the manual labor for them can't feed a family of four.

And it's a war, so some Marines gunned down unarmed, hands-on-their-heads-civilians. The "Other Countries" are not the only ones who commit atrocities. Don't you all know this yet?

War IS and act of Terrorism.

And God continues to rain down both blessings and damnation upon the just and the unjust, in a seemingly chaotic way.

There are wars to be fought RIGHT HERE, ya'll, but without guns & bombs. And our National Guard should be at home, guarding their nation, not on the other side of the world playing crusaders. We have GOT to put down the bombs.

Read the history of the atomic bomb. It really is up to the US to lead the way toward world peace, and we've blown it for the next several years.

My personal fantasy is that someday any type of firearm will be illegal. That's just how silly I am.

When DOES Death take a F*&%in' Holiday?

They're tired of my talk of death & despair over at mySpace, so here I am.

I tried to help a baby bird last week, to no avail. It died.

Oh well, at least we weren't attached.

But not so my Frog.

I really had feelings for that Frog. He actually hopped up to me once, and I had witnesses. He let me pet him everyday. And always let me take lots of pictures. He also, I believe, sired several litters of tadpoles. KC says "he" could be a "she" but I don't think so.

I came home one day after work a couple weeks ago to find my potted water lily overturned in the pond, and the water was all muddy. So I had to clean that out, and clean, and clean, and then the pump stopped up, so I got me a Bud Light and a Phillip's screwdriver and got to work.

I have not seen that frog since that morning.

Now, in the meantime, I have almost made friends with this raccoon, who is adorable.

Got some pics. Good. He'd gotten a little tame for me too. Precious!

But then talking with my sister who is far more knowledgeable about wildlife than I, I now understand that the raccoon probably killed the frog. See, the cat won't go into the pond after the little hoppers, but a raccoon will tear up jack. AND kill frogs.

So now I'm totally pissed with Rocky. If I had a gun, I'd lay in wait and kill the cute little rascal! And make a hat out of his cute little ass! And make a mask out of his face...

Damn I just got REAL morbid...

So anyhow, here's Rocky. He won't be around long enough to get any more pictures made.

And here's my friend of 2 years, who I now believe is gone...

I guess I'll have to get myself one of these:

But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
Put your makeup on fix your hair up pretty and meet me tonight in Atlantic City"

I can't jump on EVERY bandwagon!

At the age of 44, I've had to prioritize my issues.

Atheism happens to be my #1. I'm slowly paving the way to a documentary (or at least the occasional blog!) on the subject.

I started out spreading the word of Pantheism and Tolerance, but it seems the tolerance movement is getting nowhere.

The Fundamentalists have taken what little faith I had & torn it to shreds, and that has made it easier to plunge on in where no proper lady dare go:

All religions are the inventions of man, and it's fucking ridiculous to expect to educate our children, encourage them to expand their horizons by reading, and learning, and then simultaneously expect them to believe that Jesus was born from a virgin, died to SAVE US FROM HELL, then rose again, having already paid for our sins, etc, etc, etc.

I only want to ask that if you want to be a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, then you should continually study his words, say his prayers, and pay attention to the things he said the most!

1. Jesus always stressed LOVE.

2. Jesus encouraged us to not worry about the morals of others.

3. "In my father's house there are many mansions..." think about what that might mean.

Drop your old testament. Once Jesus came, his word had authority over the old testament laws. You cannot teach us this on one day and then bring up shit like homosexuality, witchcraft, and tattos the next saying "It's an abomination!!".

Pick a side and stay there.

Stop worshipping the words of Paul. He is responsible for the very first widespread heresy. Read it. Then read every word attributed to Jesus Christ. It's not the same.

St. John the Divine was exiled on the island of Patmos, I think, for heresy when he is purported to have had the Revelations, which are either a. happening all the time, like an unending loop of time , space, good, and evil. or b. have proven time and time again to be real. Can't you see how the prophecies have already played out, and don't you understand that the end could be any day now? or c. the delusional ramblings of a skitzo holy man, isolated from everyone. Hell, I'd probably have visions too!
